The purpose
So you get here and you're probably wondering what the name "Send Silent Screaming Egg" means and what it's all about.
We are Chuck and Jules. For all those who were at Wordstock 06 you may remember us from….well….you may not remember us.(that was embarrassing) As you know Wordstock is coming up in May, and though Plan of Attack and Salt of Earth and Metanoya and STEM and Julie Greeneyes and band and Francesco and Red Sky and Creature and a heck of a lot of other people are being asked to perform, Silent Screaming Egg has not, in fact, been asked to perform. Luckily one of our band members (the Egg) is an integral part of Wordstock (breakfast) and as such will already be attending. But seeing as Silent Screaming Egg didn't get invited, both of us (Chuck and Jules) will need to garner your support in order to be allowed to perform at Wordstock. Seeing as we are bad musicians and very involved in the shaking of our egg, it would be nearly impossible to have enough talent to be asked to perform at such an event.
But we know that God's delays are not denials, and after praying about it we decided to shoot for it anyway. What that means is that we have a month and a half to convince the WOC to let us up on STAGE! It may seem impossible, but we have the power of the keys on our side, and nothing is impossible with them.
All that to say, is we want to perform at Wordstock, but we need your help. So whether you went to Wordstock III and liked the music and wanted to see a little more cultural diversity (what?), or if you're going to attend Wordstock IVand want to see Silent Screaming Egg there, or even if you hate the music (that means you’ll love us), but want to support a worthy cause like helping two poor musicians out, we need your help. We of course will be doing campaigning of our own on W&R's and the like, but again without your help we won't be able to do it.
So any support big or small would be greatly appreciated. We know that a lot of you are bad musicians yourselves, so thanks so much in advance for the sacrifices made. We are blessed to be a part of such a loving Family and though we are destitute on this earth, we will one day proudly stand beside you all in the hall of warriors. We love you.

Commenting on your stupid site and your stupid video, i've seen the what I could call lame things in my life you but you two have roused me from a sick bed to express how much i hate you and your egg. My only consolation is that if you ever get on any stage the tidal wave of laughter that would greet you will be just the right kind of shock treatment that you need. I could forgive you the lousy video,the scatter brain presentation and Chuck's name but for you to get on video and just be yourselves is too shamefull for words. I can only hope that with proper counselling and large doses of pyscho-drugs you will regain some shred of normality and call a permanent cessation to the walking, talking waste of oxygen that you both have sadly turned out to be, much to the dissapointment of ones like us, trying to make a better world.

I'm so lucky. I get to work with these dudesesses every day! And I get to hear them practice. Let me tell you, they have the science of silence perfected to nearly an art form.
...I just don't see why they have to bring their ovaries into it, but hey, art is art.
ahaha! i wish i could go to Wordstock IV just to meet you two :P but alas.. i can't, anyway, i wanted to ask, where is the "send" button to contribute to the cause? :D

I replayed the clip of Song 2 7,500 times, because you said after an hour we would begin to feel the vibes...and sure enough I felt them. It was a deep, pure,awesome moment of realization for me.

I think the silence will actually be appreciated. Maybe between two screaming bands. Give people a chance to check their hearing abilities. Sort of the way folks check their heart beat after some exercise, or smell coffee between perfumes! By the way Galileo's big thing was not the shape of the earth but whether the sun or earth is in the center of our solar system. Maybe if you'd make the historical comments silently next time they'll lend more weight! Love you both!
What you don't realize anonymous is that we actually DID make an enormous amount of historically weighty comments silently.
I guess you just missed those.
And maybe instead of it being Galileo's big thing, it was Galileo's small thing and we didn't want it to feel left out.

The challenge will now be to get the audience to help you keep the silence and not get moved by your vibes and start making sound (hence ruining the vibes perhaps?). - Any idea how that will work? ;)

I am pondering Cel's insightful question. Perhaps there could be some moments of silent vibing, after which the audience would be allowed to audibly release their inner joy at finally seeing and actually being in the physical presence of, Silent Screaming Egg?
