Send Silent Screaming Egg
The purpose
So you get here and you're probably wondering what the name "Send Silent Screaming Egg" means and what it's all about.
We are Chuck and Jules. For all those who were at Wordstock 06 you may remember us from….well….you may not remember us.(that was embarrassing) As you know Wordstock is coming up in May, and though Plan of Attack and Salt of Earth and Metanoya and STEM and Julie Greeneyes and band and Francesco and Red Sky and Creature and a heck of a lot of other people are being asked to perform, Silent Screaming Egg has not, in fact, been asked to perform. Luckily one of our band members (the Egg) is an integral part of Wordstock (breakfast) and as such will already be attending. But seeing as Silent Screaming Egg didn't get invited, both of us (Chuck and Jules) will need to garner your support in order to be allowed to perform at Wordstock. Seeing as we are bad musicians and very involved in the shaking of our egg, it would be nearly impossible to have enough talent to be asked to perform at such an event.
But we know that God's delays are not denials, and after praying about it we decided to shoot for it anyway. What that means is that we have a month and a half to convince the WOC to let us up on STAGE! It may seem impossible, but we have the power of the keys on our side, and nothing is impossible with them.
All that to say, is we want to perform at Wordstock, but we need your help. So whether you went to Wordstock III and liked the music and wanted to see a little more cultural diversity (what?), or if you're going to attend Wordstock IVand want to see Silent Screaming Egg there, or even if you hate the music (that means you’ll love us), but want to support a worthy cause like helping two poor musicians out, we need your help. We of course will be doing campaigning of our own on W&R's and the like, but again without your help we won't be able to do it.
So any support big or small would be greatly appreciated. We know that a lot of you are bad musicians yourselves, so thanks so much in advance for the sacrifices made. We are blessed to be a part of such a loving Family and though we are destitute on this earth, we will one day proudly stand beside you all in the hall of warriors. We love you.
